I gained my interest in Book of Mormon geography from studying ancient history and pre-history at BYU and from his service as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army with deployments to both Afghanistan and Iraq. I also garden as a hobbyist. Thus my expertise is in military & economic strategy and (to a lesser extent) ecology. I currently work in marketing and have for many years.
