My interest in Book of Mormon geography grew from my studies in ancient history and prehistory at BYU, combined with real-world experience as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army, where I served in both Afghanistan and Iraq. These experiences shaped my perspective on military and economic strategy—lenses I frequently apply when analyzing the text. I'm seeking to use a combination of logic and literal interpretation of the scriptural text as it is written to learn more about the context.
